ADDITION
TO THIS BRANCH'S HISTORY
Dear
Ann
We were reading the biography of your great-grandfather Anthony Godsell
Brabazon His sister Thomasine Jane Brabazon (1830-1932) daughter of the
Rev J. Brabazon is my husband's great-grandmother.
Thomasine married John Hall in 1855. They had nine children. My father-in-law
(John Hall) died in2002. John had kept a huge amount of the family history
and heritage and while cleaning out the house we found a fair amount of
photo's of Thomasine (his grandmother), as well as her correspondence
This included photographs of family members in Australia. (I believe we
have a picture of her father). My husband Herbert and myself along with
our daughter Ashley are moving to Dublin in July 2004 We have put a lot
of the family history into storage while work is carried out on our home
in Dublin At present we live in Devon, England.
While visiting Dublin last week we went the the Church in Bray to seek
out some family history
Thomasine's mother-in-law was Katherine Hall, formerly Katherine Putland.
The Putlands owned Bray Head House in the 1800's There is a memorial window
for the Putlands in the Bray church.
Thomasine is burried at Deansgrange, Dublin. Berie has an older bother
John Hall.
All best
Shelley and Bertie Hall
